Our Team

There are currently 12 members of staff that provide a staff to child ratio of 1:4 in all the groups except the Baby Unit where the ratio is 1:3. In order to keep our good practices up to date, all the staff are encouraged to attend workshops and training sessions provided by Surrey Early Years as well as onsite training. The certificates are available for your perusal at anytime. 

Pamela Twocock is Manager and owner of the nursery. Pamela is currently undertaking a BA in Childcare and Early Years. She holds a City and Guilds 324/1 in Caring for Children Under Eight (NVQ level 3 & SOCOF accredited), a First Aid Certificate, and has 2 children of her own.

Elaine Fagg is Deputy Manager and holds a PLA Diploma in Pre-school Practice & a Certificate in Special Needs Training. Elaine also has several years experience working in nurseries and is our Special Needs co-ordinator (SENCO). Elaine has two children.

Jennie Miller is Deputy Supervisor and holds a NVQ 3 in Childcare certificate, Basic Food Hygiene and First Aid Certificates. Jennie has several years experience in other nurseries.  Jennie has one child. 

Vicky Plowright is a Nursery Nurse and holds an NVQ 2  and 3 in Childcare & Education. .

Rita Plowright is a Nursery Nurse and a trained classroom assistant.  Rita has many years experience and nows holds an NVQ 2. Rita has a certificate in First Aid. She also has 3 children. 

Chris Cremer is a Nursery Nurse.  He holds a certificate in First Aid and holds an NVQ 2  in Childcare & Education.  Chris will be shortly studying for an NVQ 3 in Childcare & Education.

David Black is a Nursery Assistant he is currently studying for an NVQ 2 in Childcare & Education.

Linda Howard is a Nursery Assistant who has previous experience working in a school. Linda has one child.

Sophie Jones is a Nursery Assistant and is currently studying for an NVQ 2 in Childcare & Education.

Jess Thorne in a Nursery Assistant & has just recently started with us full time.  She will be shortly studying for an NVQ 2 in Childcare & Education.

Kim Plowright is our cook. She has a level 2 certificate in Food Safety and Catering. Kim has 2 children.

Georgina Plowright is a Nursery Assistant who is currently studying for her A levels and works holidays and half terms.  Georgina is working towards becoming a maths teacher and will attend Kingston University in September 2009.
